This term, pupils at Rectory CE Primary School had the incredible opportunity to take part in Dance Syndrome workshops — a joyful celebration of dance, creativity, and inclusion.

Led by talented dancers from Dance Syndrome, the workshops introduced children to expressive movement in a way that was accessible, empowering, and fun for everyone. Dance Syndrome is an inclusive dance company where people of all abilities come together to share their passion for dance — and their energy was truly infectious!

Moving Together, Learning Together

Throughout the sessions, pupils explored rhythm, coordination, and storytelling through dance. They learned to express themselves with confidence, work collaboratively, and celebrate each other’s unique styles and strengths.

Inspiring Every Child

It was heartwarming to see every child fully engaged — smiling, moving, and supporting one another. These workshops didn’t just teach dance; they taught empathy, resilience, and the joy of shared experience.

We’re proud to offer opportunities like this that inspire our pupils and reflect our school’s commitment to inclusion, creativity, and community.
