🙏 Collective Worship at Rectory

At Rectory Church of England Primary School, Collective Worship is a central and cherished part of our daily life. It brings our school community together to worship and praise God, reflect on our values, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
Our six Christian values—forgiveness, thankfulness, compassion, friendship, wisdom, and perseverance—were thoughtfully chosen by pupils, staff, parents, and governors. These values are rooted in the teachings of the Bible and the example of Jesus, and they guide how we live, learn, and relate to one another.
Through Collective Worship, we aim to:
🌟 Offer children meaningful encounters with the Christian faith
🧠 Develop spiritual, moral, social, and cultural understanding
🤝 Reinforce our shared values and sense of belonging
💬 Encourage reflection, prayer, and celebration
Collective Worship reflects our mission statement and shapes our approach to learning, relationships, and community life at Rectory.
