Faith and Feast

On the last Sunday of every month, Rectory CE Primary opens its doors wide for Faith and Feast — a much‑loved gathering where our school and church families come together to share food, friendship and faith. What began as a simple idea has quickly grown into one of the most joyful moments in our school calendar, bringing people of all ages together in a spirit of warmth and belonging.

Each month, the hall fills with the smell of hot food and home‑baked cakes, the sound of laughter, and the buzz of families catching up with one another. Children play games, adults chat over a cup of tea, and everyone joins in with worship, singing and dancing that lifts the whole room. It’s a time where barriers fall away and community truly comes alive.

What makes Faith and Feast so special is the way it reflects who we are as a school — a place where everyone is welcome, everyone is valued and everyone has a place at the table. Whether you come for the food, the fellowship, the music or simply the chance to be part of something bigger, there is always a warm seat waiting for you.

We are incredibly grateful to all the families, staff, volunteers and church members who help make each gathering so memorable. Your generosity, kindness and enthusiasm are what turn these Sundays into something truly meaningful.
