Rectory Church of England Primary School was inspected in April 2024 and received an overall judgement of Requires Improvement. Despite this, the report highlights several areas of strength and progress:

• Leadership and Management – Good
  Leaders are committed to improving outcomes for all pupils. The school’s inclusive ethos and specialist ASC provision are well led, and staff are supported effectively.

• Behaviour and Attitudes – Good
  Pupils behave well and show respect for others. Relationships across the school are positive, and the school’s relational approach is evident in daily practice.

• Early Years Provision – Good
  Children in the Early Years benefit from a well-planned curriculum and strong leadership. Staff know the children well and provide a nurturing environment that supports early development.

• Quality of Education – Requires Improvement
  While the curriculum is ambitious and inclusive, there are inconsistencies in how well it is delivered across subjects. Leaders are taking action to address this and improve teaching and learning.
