Mad Science Week at Rectory CE Primary School was a huge success, igniting excitement and curiosity across every year group. From the moment the whole-school assembly kicked off, our pupils were captivated by the wonders of science — with jaw-dropping demonstrations and interactive experiments that set the tone for a week of discovery.

Hands-On Workshops for Budding Scientists

Throughout the week, each class took part in hands-on workshops designed to bring scientific concepts to life. Whether they were launching rockets, making slime, or exploring the power of static electricity, our children were fully immersed in the fun of learning through experimentation.

The enthusiasm was infectious, and it was a joy to see our little scientists so engaged — asking questions, making predictions, and celebrating their discoveries.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Mad Science Week wasn’t just about fun; it was about fostering a lifelong love of science. By encouraging curiosity and creativity, we’re helping our pupils see themselves as future inventors, engineers, and explorers.

We’re proud to offer these enriching experiences and look forward to many more moments of scientific wonder.
