At The Orchard, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every pupil is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where all children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Every member of our staff understands their role in keeping pupils safe, and our policies and practices are designed to meet the individual needs of our SEND pupils, including communication differences, sensory needs, and social-emotional development.
Our approach ensures that all pupils are supported, staff know our children well and that families are fully involved in safeguarding matters.
A Warm Welcome from Mrs Gardner
If you ever have any worries or just need a friendly chat, Mrs Gardner is always here for you. Give her a call or pop in for a brew and a conversation—no appointment needed. Whether it’s a concern about your child, school life, or simply a moment to talk, her door is open and the kettle’s on. She is always on the end of the phone and will be based at Orchard every Tuesday.
