Attendance
🌟 The Importance of Attendance

At Rectory CE Primary School, we believe that every school day counts. Our minimum attendance aim is 96%, and we work closely with families to help every child reach it.
Why Attendance Matters
Consistency builds confidence
Many of our pupils rely on predictable routines to feel safe and settled. Being in school every day helps them understand what to expect, reduces anxiety and supports their emotional regulation.
Learning happens daily
Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the sensory, communication and developmental needs of each child. Regular attendance ensures they can access the full sequence of learning, therapies and interventions planned for them.
Relationships grow through shared experiences
For our children, strong relationships with trusted adults and peers are essential. Daily attendance helps pupils build these connections, develop social communication skills and feel part of our school community.
